Vancouver’s LGTB Centre is hosting the second in a series of community “Coffee & Conversation” sessions on the Drive, May 21 @6pm. I’ll be there will you?
Jennifer J. Breakspear, Executive Director of The Centre in Vancouver, is holding regular coffee conversations throughout the community in order to provide opportunities for community members to engage and discuss, brainstorm and imagine the community’s wishes for, and needs of, our LGTB community centre.
The first of these “Coffee & Conversation” sessions was held in the West End on May 11th. Now they are taking the conversation to the Drive. The coffee and a chat will be held at The End Café at 2360 Commercial Drive (at N. Grandview Highway, just north of the Skytrain station) at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday May 21st.
Jennifer has already heard from a number of people who had a lot to say about The Centre. And she knows that there are folks in the East End who also care quite passionately about the LGTB community centre, and she really does want to hear what it is that you want to know, ask, advise or suggest for The Centre.
