I’m starting to feel excited! My first trip to San Fran!

I’ll be arriving on Thursday, November 20, for Leather Traditions, a weekend intensive for Dominants which goes from the Friday to the Sunday. It’s got an application/reference process to get in and is limited to 25 people. I think it will add greatly to my year-long commitment to focusing on and investing in the furtherance of my D/s M/s knowledge.

The list of sessions includes the kind of geeky theory that makes me wet.

    # Being true to ourselves – an introduction to the weekend
    # What is dominance – what is not
    # A deeper understanding of the the D/s dynamic
    # Round table discussion on relationships with Master Skip
    # Vulnerability in D/s relationships – the Dom’s perspective
    # Managing service / accepting service – protocols and rituals

And I’m looking forward to checking out the facilitators which include: Rope Wolf, Race Bannon, Daddy Sal and Master Skip Chasey.

When I come back I promise to schedule and download information at another D/s Dinner/salon. Now that I’ve had my surgery and am well on the way to health (love to all the LD members who have shown the love and lent assistance) it’s time to get back on track. Plus, there are a couple members here who have recently returned form Sagacity’s weekend event on Victoria. I hope they will be willing to share what they learnt too.

My secondary intent is to connect with new people. In a perfect world, with leather/kinky queers of colour. To that end I’ve put the word out that I’ll be in town to a few lists I participate in and REALLY hope that good things will flow from that.

The one thing that IS disappointing is that there doesn’t seems to be anything leather/kink/fetish really going on during that weekend. BOO. I’ll try to hit the Gay and Lesbian Centre but what else is there? I’ve checked every calendar I can think of. If you know of anything, leave a note or drop me a PM.

Soooo excited. Now all I have to do is figure out what to pack in a world of luggage restrictions. NOT femme friendly…
